Violence prevention research clearly shows that perpetrator behaviors, often escalate over time, ranging from pushing and shoving, to active forms of harassment, intimidation, coercion, menacing, brandishing weapons, and engaging in overt forms of threats and acts which result in substantial bodily harm. Clients who may be the targets of these acts are understandably concerned about the safety of their families, businesses, or assets.
Stalking & Violence: Violence includes but isn't limited to physically harming another, shoving, pushing, harassing, intimidating, coercing, menacing, brandishing weapons, and threatening or speaking of engaging in these types of activities. Crimes against yourself, family members, business executives, public figures, professionals involved in controversial issues, and those with significant income or assets are becoming increasingly more common. Also are attacks on their immediate family, relatives, associates, and property. They may become a targets for robbery, burglary, extortion, harassment, kidnapping, assault, and possibly assassination.
TSCM: (Technical Surveillance Countermeasures/ Eavesdropping Detection/ Bug Sweeping): If a client is concerned about the potential that an adversary has planted electronic eavesdropping devices in their areas of work or home, a "TSCM survey" may be an appropriate method to detect and intervene is such situations. The United States Department of Defense defines a TSCM survey as a service provided by qualified personnel to detect the presence of technical surveillance devices and hazards, and to identify technical security weaknesses. A TSCM survey is a component of a comprehensive evaluation of a facility's technical security posture and typically consists of a thorough visual, electronic and physical examination of the facility and the immediate surrounding environment.
